A large woman wearing a sleeveless summer dress walked into a busy London pub.
She confidently raised one arm to get everyone’s attention and called out,
“Which gentleman is going to buy a lady a drink?”
The pub fell silent.
Most people suddenly became very interested in their own glasses.
Then, from the far end of the bar, a cheerful old fellow who’s clearly had one too many slammed his hand on the counter.
“Buy the ballerina a drink!” he shouted.
The bartender shrugged, poured her a drink, and she happily finished it in one gulp.
A few moments later, she raised her arm again and repeated,
“Come on now… who’s buying this lady another drink?”
Once again…
SLAM!
The same man banged the bar.
“Another drink for the ballerina!”
Curious, the bartender walked over to him.
“I understand you want to buy the lady a drink,” he said.
“But why on earth do you keep calling her a ballerina?”
The old fellow took a slow sip, smiled, and replied,
“Well…”
“Any woman who can lift her leg high enough to shave that armpit…”
“…has to be a ballerina!” 😂
