A new teacher noticed the class kept calling one boy, “Mikey the Moron.”
At recess, a student explained, “Watch this.”
He held out a large 50-cent coin and a smaller $1 coin. As always, Mikey picked the 50-cent coin, and the kids burst into laughter.
Later, the teacher took Mikey aside.
“You know the $1 coin is worth more than the 50-cent coin, right?”
Mikey smiled. “Of course I do.”
“Then why do you keep choosing the 50-cent coin?”
Mikey grinned.
“Because the day I take the dollar… is the day they stop giving me money!”
