A mother-in-law decided to test her three sons-in-law to see who loved her the most.
She took the first son-in-law for a walk by a deep river and suddenly threw herself into the rushing water. He bravely dove in and saved her. The next morning, he found a brand-new Chevy Malibu in his driveway with a note: “From your mother-in-law.”
The next day, she pulled the same stunt with the second son-in-law. He also dove in and rescued her. The next morning, he found a Ford Fusion out front with a note: “From your mother-in-law.”
On the third day, it was the third son-in-law’s turn. She jumped into the river, but he simply folded his arms, watched her drown, and calmly walked away.
The next morning, he walked outside to find a shiny, top-of-the-line Cadillac Escalade parked in his driveway with a note: “From your father-in-law!”
