A man had just moved to a small town and decided to spend the afternoon exploring his new neighborhood.
Within minutes, he realized this wasn’t an ordinary town.
Outside the local optometrist’s office was a sign that read:
“If you can’t read this sign… come on in!”
He chuckled and kept walking.
A few blocks later, an auto repair shop had a banner proudly announcing:
“Broken cars are welcome. Broken hearts… keep driving.”
He laughed out loud.
Around the corner, a mattress store had a sign in the window:
“Our mattresses are so comfortable… even your alarm clock gives up.”
By now, he was convinced the whole town had a great sense of humor.
As evening approached, he spotted a restaurant with a giant sign outside:
“Eat all you want. Your diet starts tomorrow.”
“Challenge accepted,” he thought.
An hour later…
He’d cleaned every plate in sight.
Dessert?
Of course.
Second dessert?
Why not?
When he finally staggered out, he was so full he could barely button his pants.
Groaning with every step, he slowly waddled toward home.
Then he noticed one final sign outside a nearby medical clinic.
It read:
“Open 24 Hours…”
“…Especially for everyone who just said, ‘One more plate!'”
He sighed…
Turned around…
And walked straight through the clinic door. 😂
