My wife and I went into town to do some shopping.
When we came back outside, we found a police officer writing a parking ticket on the car next to ours.
I walked over and said,
“Come on, officer… how about giving a couple of senior citizens a break?”
He completely ignored me and kept writing.
So I called him a “butthead.”
He looked up, frowned, and immediately started writing another ticket—for our worn-out tires!
My wife wasn’t about to let me have all the fun.
She called him a “jerk.”
He finished the second ticket, slapped it on the windshield, and started writing another one.
For the next fifteen minutes, we kept coming up with new ways to annoy him.
And the more we offended him, the more tickets he wrote!
Finally, the officer finished his masterpiece, gave us one last dirty look, and walked away.
My wife and I burst out laughing.
Then our bus arrived.
We climbed aboard and headed home.
Yep… we’re retired.
We don’t own the car.
We just park someone else’s car and spend our afternoons making parking officers angry!
Hey, retirement needs hobbies too!
