The Little Boy Who Needed to “Whisper”
One Sunday, a young boy went to church with his mother.
Halfway through the service, in the middle of the quiet sermon, he suddenly said in a loud voice,
“Mama, I have to pee!”
Several people turned around. Embarrassed, his mother quickly took him to the restroom.
Afterward, she gently told him,
“Honey, it’s not polite to say ‘pee’ out loud in church. Next time, just tell me you have to ‘whisper.'”
The boy nodded.
“Okay, Mommy.”
The following Sunday, he went to church with his father instead.
As the service was ending, the boy leaned over and quietly said,
“Daddy, I have to whisper.”
His father had no idea it was a code word.
Smiling, he leaned closer and said,
“Well, okay… just whisper in my ear.” 😄
