I’m an old widower living alone, and right across the street lives a stunning, single young woman.
This evening, I watched her pull into her driveway after work. To my absolute surprise, she walked straight across the street, marched up my driveway, and knocked on my door.
When I opened it, she looked me dead in the eye and said, “I just got home, and I have this overwhelming urge to go out, get drunk, and have a wild time tonight. Are you busy?”
For a glorious second, my old heart nearly gave out.
With a trembling voice, I quickly replied, “Nope, I am completely free!”
She smiled beautifully and said, “Perfect! Can you watch my dog?”
