Newly hired Target employee reports she was forced to operate the entire shop alone when her manager clocked out early.

A TikTok and Target employee found herself in a difficult situation after allegedly being left to operate the entire store by herself.

Ket, also known as @ketaminelorde on TikTok, shared a video of her purported experience running the store without a manager.

I’m going to have to close 24 registers, guest services, and self-checkout… I’m going to have to close the store by myself,’ she said, explaining that she was one of the only individuals who knew how to close a register… but confessing that she had no idea how to process a refund.

‘I don’t know what the f*** I’m doing,’ she explained.

In her April 7 video, the TikToker said that she had only been working at Target for two months when she was left to handle the entire store on her own with only four employees to assist her.

According to Target’s corporate website, the department store giant currently employs over 400,000 people.

The website states that Target ‘develops practices and policies’ to help their employees ‘thrive in the workplace.’

@ketaminelorde did not appear to be doing well after supposedly running the store on her own after her manager left at 3:00.

‘It is happening whether I like it or not. “The girl interrupted,” she stated in her video.

@ketaminelorde Honestly would say i did a stellar job considering i wasnt prepared or warned for this #target ♬ original sound – GIRLS MODE

@ketaminelorde also photographed herself while away from customers, and one of her shots even included the word ‘help’.

A former Target employee stated on Glassdoor that they were granted one 30-minute break and two 15-minute breaks.

It’s unclear whether Ket’s store had the similar break regulation, but she was irritated with a coworker who did not return from theirs while the manager was out.

According to TikToker, the employee took a 15-minute break that extended into a 30-minute break without her knowledge.

Ket asked the coworker where they were and made it clear that she expected the employee to return to work.

The TikToker continued to take photos of herself at the store before leaving at 11:45 p.m.
