Noah Ritter, often known as ‘the supposedly kid’, has reprised his famous interview ten years later.
In 2014, a 5-year-old Ritter was touring the Wayne County Fair in Pennsylvania with his grandfather Jack when he was approached by a local television station who wanted to know what he thought about the news.
Prior to his monologue, Ritter took advantage of the opportunity and declared that he had never been on live television before.
“I’ve never been on live television before,” he told the camera, explaining that it was because he is ‘just a kid’.
“Grandpa gives me the remote every time we watch the Powerball,” he told me.
Noah, now 15, recreated his childhood voice to utter his famous statement, ‘And evidently, I’ve never been on live television before,’ while standing next to his Grandpa Jack.
When the reporter asked Noah how it felt to replicate his interview at the fair, the adolescent described the experience as ‘nostalgic’.
“It feels pretty good,” he added, adding, “I’m nostalgic about it.” It reminds me of being here in this precise area ten years ago.”
This is definitely a star-studded lineup.
In fact, Noah has crossed paths with so many renowned people that he frequently forgets who he has met, as the reporter reminds him of an encounter with pop sensation Ariana Grande.
“Almost forgot about her,” he joked.
Despite being a busy high school student juggling his studies, extracurricular activities, and learning to drive, Noah still makes time every year to visit the fair with his grandfather and has committed to continue the family tradition.
“I wouldn’t trade my buddy for the world,” he remarked of his grandfather.
Viewers were equally moved by the video and Noah’s tight relationship with his grandfather, with one dubbing his grandparents ‘living angels’.
