A baby boy was born to a couple after 11 years of marriage.
They were a loving couple and that child completed their happiness.
The baby grew up, and they were all happy together.
One day, when the father was running late from the office.
He saw a medicine bottle left open on the floor.
He asked his wife to cap the bottle carefully and ran to his office.
The wife couldn’t hear him properly and was lost in her kitchen.
The cute boy crawled towards that bottle playfully and drank it all.
It happened to be a poisonous medicine meant for adults in small dosages.
When the child collapsed, the mother hurried him to the hospital and he was found dead.
The mother was stunned and horrified to learn that.
She thought to herself, “How will I face my husband?”
When the distraught father came running to the hospital, and saw his dead child. He looked at this panicked wife and uttered four words,
“I love you, dear.”
The wife couldn’t believe her hears what she had just heard.
The pain was a bit relieved inside. The child could never be brought back to life.
So, there was no point in accusing each other.
Besides, if he had spared a moment to put that bottle away, this would not have happened.
The mother had also lost her only child, and he was equally precious to both of them.
What she required most, at that moment.
Was her husband’s sympathy and consolation and she got it.
But what to those who don’t get it? What if he had said, “I am divorcing you”
In spite of blaming each other and pointing out mistakes in one another, it is much better if we look for each other’s affection and support. Treasure what you have.
Don’t multiply your pain, sorrows, and anguish by holding onto forgiveness. Let go of all your fears, envies, jealousy, and selfishness and seek to forgive love and share. You will soon find out things are not as difficult as you think.
