A crowded city bus was rolling through downtown.
A young mother was sitting beside a man, trying everything she could to get her baby to feed.
But the baby stubbornly refused.
Smiling patiently, she whispered,
“Come on, sweetheart… if you don’t eat, I’ll give it to the gentleman sitting next to me.”
The baby just stared at her.
A few minutes later, she tried again.
“Seriously… eat now, or I’m giving it to this nice man.”
Still nothing.
Ten more minutes passed.
The baby refused again.
The mother sighed.
“Last chance! If you don’t eat, you’re going to the man beside me!”
The man had been quietly listening the entire time.
Finally, he leaned over with a helpless smile and said,
“Ma’am… would you please make up your mind?”
She looked at him, confused.
He shrugged and replied,
“I was supposed to get off this bus… six stops ago!” 😂🤣
