Recently, a TikTok video went viral showing a moment in a wedding in Malaysia. Accordingly, the bride in the video asks her new husband’s permission to hug her ex boyfriend “one final time” after saying the vows.
The bride with TikTok username @mayangkumay, then posted the short clip. In this clip, a man waked towards the newly-married couple to give his congratulations. It turns out that that man is the bride’s ex-boyfriend and he extends his hand to offer the congratulatory handshake.
Instead of taking his hand, this bride turns to her groom and asks him if she can hug her former partner.
“Can I hug him one last time?,” she said to her new husband.
Surprisingly, the groom agreed. However, when his wife hugged the ex-boyfriend, he seems to show a “hurt” expression on his face. To his credit, the ex-boyfriend looks over to the groom, as if to make sure that it’s really okay.
The bride tenderly rubs her ex’s back and then she exchanges a few words with him while the groom watches on awkwardly.
After the embrace, the ex turns to the groom to offer a handshake but surprisingly receive a hug from the groom. The bride turned to hug a female guest approaching her.
