Donald Trump has shared an unusual update about his health while discussing a recent MRI scan.
The former president’s condition has been in the spotlight since earlier this year, after he was seen with a noticeable bruise on his hand — something his team appeared to mask with heavy makeup. He was later diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), a circulatory issue that develops when the veins in the legs are damaged and unable to function properly.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced last month that Trump would undergo his routine health evaluation at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Trump later confirmed that the checkup included an MRI.

During a conversation with reporters aboard Air Force One a few weeks ago, the 79-year-old leader said, “I gave you every detail. We did an MRI — the whole thing — and it was perfect.”
He refused to explain why the scan was necessary but told journalists: “No president has ever shared reports like I have. And if anything looked bad, I’d tell you. I wouldn’t be running — I’d say so.”
Trump insisted he felt fine, adding, “The doctor said these were some of the best results they’ve seen for someone my age.”
On Friday (November 14), also speaking on Air Force One, he offered more specifics about what doctors observed.
“I had an MRI,” he said, describing the test as routine. “The doctor said it was the best result he’s ever seen… absolutely outstanding.”
When asked whether the scan included his brain, Trump replied, “I have no idea what part they looked at, but whatever they checked, they checked it thoroughly — and the results were as good as they’ve ever seen.”

Speculation about Trump’s health skyrocketed earlier this year following bizarre online rumors falsely claiming he had died. The chatter intensified after comments by Vice President JD Vance, who suggested he would be prepared to assume the presidency “in the event of a terrible tragedy.”
Vance clarified at the time, telling USA Today, “I’ve had a lot of on-the-job training over the last 200 days, but the president is in excellent health. His energy is unbelievable.”
Trump quickly dismissed the wild rumors, posting on Truth Social: “NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE.”
