A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her shower, when the doorbell rings.
The wife runs downstairs and hurriedly wraps herself in a towel.
Bob, her next-door neighbor, greets her as she opens the door.
Before she says a word, Bob says:
“I’ll give you $800 to drop that towel.”
After thinking for a moment, the woman decides to drop her towel and stands naked in front of Bob.
After a short while, Bob gives her $800 and walks away.
Returning upstairs, the woman covers herself in the towel once more.
Her spouse queries: “Who was that?” as she enters the restroom.
“Bob, the neighbor, was there”. She said.
“Great,” the husband says, “did he say anything about the $800 he owes me?”
Moral of the story:
You might be able to avoid exposure if you promptly communicate with your shareholders important information about credit and risk.
